PLANCK APPOINTED IMA PRESIDENT
June 22, 2001 - The Independent Marketing Alliance (IMA) announces the appointment of Robert D. Planck as IMA President and the establishment of the company's offices in Houston, Texas. Chairman of the IMA Search committee and President of The IJ Company, Tommy Dail commented, "We are pleased to attract a person of the caliber of Bob Planck to lead this important venture. Bob is an experienced Procurement and Marketing executive and known industry leader. We are confident that he will provide the leadership for IMA that the Board has sought".
Mr. Planck previously served as Vice President of Marketing for Sysco Corporation, Senior Vice President of AmeriServe, and was a Executive Officer for John Lewis Foodservice in Australia. He has also received numerous industry awards and been a leader in industry professional associations
